The Bentwood Tavern (New Buffalo) Give-Back Dinner on behalf of Fernwood Tuesday, Sept. 21 netted nearly $2,800, which represents half of the food, beverage and gift card income for the evening. This is a new record for Bentwood’s give-back dinners, which they do seven times per year.

Tavern to hold Fernwood fundraiser »
Bentwood Tavern, located in Marina Grand Resort,600 West Water St., New Buffalo, will host a give-back dinner Tuesday, Sept. 21 to benefit Niles’ Fernwood Botanical Garden and Nature Preserve. Fifty percent of all food and beverage purchases from 5 to 10 p.m. will be donated to support Fernwood’s educational outreach programs and garden projects.
